Srinagar, Aug 09: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has suspended Er. Assad Ullah Najar, Executive Engineer of the R&B Division in Bandipora with “immediate effect”, “pending an inquiry” into his “conduct.”
The officer has been attached to the office Chief Engineer, R&B Pir Panjal while Executive Engineer PMGSY Bandipora has been given additional “look after” charge for R&B Division Bandipora, till further orders.
The suspension order by Bhupinder Kumar, Secretary to the government, issued on August 8, 2024, states, “Pending inquiry into the conduct, Er. Assad Ullah Najar, I/c Executive Engineer, R&B Division Bandipora is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect.”
During the suspension period, Najar will be attached to the office of the Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) Pir Panjal.
