Police observes Thana Diwas in Sopore

Srinagar: To bridge the gap between police & public, police on Thursday observed Thana Diwas across all police stations in Police District Sopore.
The meetings were chaired by concerned SDPOs and Station House Officers besides, other senior Police officers were also present on the said occasions.
During the meetings, various issues were raised by the participants and they were assured by the chairing officers that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police department will be resolved on priority & that of Civil Administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal. Moreover, the participants were requested to co-operate with Police in maintaining law and order in the area and identifying anti-national and anti-social elements who always try to disrupt the peaceful environment.
