Jammu : In a crackdown on illegal mining, the Jammu Police have taken strict action against violators exploiting public resources for personal gain.
A police spoekesman said that during an operation in the South Zone of District Jammu, PP Phallain Mandal, led by PSI Harish Chander, detained three tractor trolleys loaded with illegally mined sand. The vehicles were seized under the jurisdiction of PS Satwari.
Following the seizure, the District Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal actions. The Jammu Police remain committed to protecting public property and eradicating the menace of illegal mining in the area.
