DEO Reasi reviews Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Rolls

Reasi : District Election Officer (DEO) Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, held a meeting with representatives of political parties to discuss the ongoing special summary revision of photo electoral rolls.
The revision aims to ensure accurate and up-to-date voter lists, with July 1 as the qualifying date.
DEO encouraged political parties to appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to assist BLOs in registering new voters, removing duplications, and updating the lists.
The DEO also briefed the attendees on the rationalization and re-arrangements of polling stations to facilitate a smoother electoral process. He urged political parties to promote maximum voter enrollment and raise awareness among eligible citizens to register as voters.
Special camps will be organized on August 3rd and 4th at Polling Stations as part of the special summary revision.
DEO Reasi also distributed Electoral Rolls to representatives of various Political parties.
