G’bal: Motor Vehicle department under the aegis of ARTO Ganderbal in collaboration with Directorate of Ayush organized a Free Maga Ayush medical awareness camp at Gadoora Ganderbal.
In this camp, more than 200 drivers were checked. ARTO told that the purpose of this camp was to ensure that people with poor health are not allowed to drive.
Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Ganderbal interacted with the drivers and assured them that Transport Department would organise more such camps in near future. He stressed on all the participants especially the drivers to follow the safety norms while driving on roads. He said the role of a driver is very crucial for the safety of precious lives as well as lives of commuters specifically during the transition period. ARTO told that the purpose of this camp was to ensure that people with poor eyesight are not allowed to drive.
