Samba : Former minister and Pradesh BJP Vice President Surjeet Singh Slathia Monday highlighted the pivotal role of youth in nation building, saying the road towards Viksit Bharat lies in the hands of India’s young and rich Human Resource.
Addressing BJP Morcha Yuva Sammelan on Monday Slathia exhorted the youth to play a proactive role in the development, progress and civilisational resurgence in the country. “Future of our country lies in the hands of young people , whose energy, talent, creativity, and commitment are vital for achieving our collective aspirations”, Slathia said and referred to the mark being left by Indian youth across the country and around the world in every sector. The dependence of the countries across the continents over Indian Human Resource is making every compatriot proud, he added. Slathia referred to the path breaking initiatives taken by the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the past over a decade in opening vistas of opportunities for the youth, saying skill development and Startup are the two crucial measures that have changed the entire scenario and made a real difference in growth and employability. In the fast evolving world, skill enhancement is proving a game changer, he said while exhorting the youth to benefit from the mega startup scheme and shape their career with a sense of confidence. He said the BJP is committed to youth empowerment and referred to strides made for generating employment in the past over ten year in both government and private sectors.
He urged activists of the Yuva Morcha to intensify their public outreach campaign and make the youth aware about the initiatives like Skill India,
Startup India, Digital India], which are designed to support and uplift the young minds across the country in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular. He exuded confidence that given the dedication and determination of youth, all challenges facing the nation can be met with fortitude. Slathia also urged the youth to strengthen further the hands of the Prime Minister to take the nation to new heights of progress besides defeating the machinations of inimical elements who were weakening the foundations of the motherland in sheer frustration and for grabbing the power.
