Awareness Camp on PMFME scheme held at Parimpora Srinagar

Srinagar: One day Awareness Camp on PradhanMantri Formulation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises PMFME Scheme was on Thursdayorganised by Area Marketing Office Horticulture (P&M) Srinagar/DNO at Area Marketing Officer Parimpora Srinagar.
Unemployed youth, fruit growers, traders and beneficiaries of the PMFME scheme, District Srinagar participated in large numbers in the programme.
ShamaManzoor, Area Marketing Officer Horticulture Planning and Marketing DNO for PMFME scheme gave a detailed lecture on PMFME Scheme and also shared Success Stories of PMFME Beneficiaries.
District Sheep Officer and Functional Manager DIC Srinagar also briefed the participants about different schemes within their domain and encouraged them to come forward for availing the schemes.
The participants were also briefed by DRP about the PMFME schemes under ODOP.
AGMO Srinagar also deliberated about different schemes available for growers and youth.
Marketing Inspector Srinagar also interacted with the participants and discussed the viability of different projects suggested by prospective traders and youth.
The participants showed a lot of interest in availing the schemes launched by the Government of India.
