Police Launches 24×7 Women Help Line Numbers In Ang

Srinagar: Police on Monday said that in an effort to reach out to the women in distress 24×7 Women Help Desk mobile numbers have been established at seven Police Stations for safety and well-being of women in Anantnag district.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar the Help Desk, manned by dedicated female Police Officers, aims to provide a platform for all women (married or unmarried) to report any problems related to their daily lives. The Help Desk will address issues such as domestic violence, harassment and other gender-related concerns.
