DDC Chairman Samba finalises Distt Capex Budget Plan for 2024-25

Samba :: A pivotal meeting chaired by the Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC) Samba, Keshav Sharma was on Friday held in the meeting hall of the District Administrative Complex Samba. The agenda was the finalization and approval of the District Capex Budget Plan for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The meeting saw the active participation of the esteemed District Development Commissioner (DDC) Abhishek Sharma, Vice Chairman, Balwan Singh, Members of the District Development Council Samba, Urban Local Bodies Administrators, Sectoral and District Officers involved with the District Capex Budget, and all Block Development Officers of District Samba.
Proceedings commenced with the Additional District Development Commissioner (CEO-District Development Council), Champa Devi initiating the meeting. The Chief Planning Officer Samba, Kasturi Lal presented a comprehensive District Plan, highlighting new works proposed under the District Capex Budget 2024-25 across various sectors and schemes.
In-depth discussions were held on the proposed new works across all sectors, including Area Development Funds (DDC, BDC, and PRIs), ABDP, APDP, TWID, PWD, Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Youth Services & Sports, Health, PHE, and Urban Local Bodies.
The Chairman and Members of the District Development Council Samba expressed their satisfaction with the proposed work plans. Consequently, the District Capex Budget Plan for 2024-25, encompassing all the aforementioned sectors, was unanimously approved during the meeting.
