DC Kishtwar finalises arrangements for Annual Shree Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra-Dachhan

Kishtwar : The District Administration Kishtwar, spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav, on Saturday finalized the arrangements for the upcoming Annual Shree Hudh Mata Trisandhiya Yatra 2024 of Dachhan, commencing on July 8, 2024.
In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Devansh Yadav chaired a joint meeting with line departments and members of the Managing Committees to review and finalize the amenities and logistics for the convenience of the pilgri
The meeting was attended by ADC Pawan Kotwal; ASP Kishtwar Rajinder Singh; SDM Marwah Dr Mohd Ashraf; DIO Kishtwar Shafkat Keen and other concerned district officers, Executive Engineers, and representatives of the Hudh Mata Managing Committee.
Reviewing the status of the arrangements, the Deputy Commissioner issued necessary directions to the concerned officers to put in place all arrangements and logistics at required locations well before the start of the Yatra.
The officers assured comprehensive security arrangements and a foolproof traffic management plan to ensure the convenience and safety of the pilgrims throughout the pilgrimage.
The concerned Executive Engineers and Wildlife authorities confirmed that the repair work on the bridle paths and wooden bridges at necessary locations en route will be completed ahead of the start of the Yatra.
Other arrangements finalized in the meeting included the deployment of Security and SDRF teams to accompany the Yatra, the installation of Hybrid solar units at designated locations, repairs and pothole fixes on Sounder Road, medical reinforcements, sanitation measures, installation of dust bins, availability of ration and fuel, distribution of eco-friendly bags, and logistics at Langer points.
Additionally, the registration of all pilgrims was emphasised in the meeting. The Deputy Commissioner urged the people and Yatris to carry their AADHAAR cards, adhere to the cut-off timings, follow the advisory issued by the administration, and maintain the serenity and sanctity of nature.
