Properties Of 5 Foreign Militant Handlers Attached In B’la: Police

Srinagar: Police on Thursday said that it has attached the properties worth Rs 1 crore belonging to five foreign based militant handlers in Baramulla.
In a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar Police said that after obtaining attachment order passed by District Court Baramulla, it has attached the properties (9 Kanals) land worth Rs 1 crore belonging to five foreign-based militant handlers identified as Bashir Ahmad Ganie S/o Gh Ahmad R/o Tilgam, Mehraj-ud-din Lone S/o Fata Mohd R/o Khargam, Ghulam Mohd Yatoo S/o Gh Ahmad R/o Tilgam, Ab Rehman Bhat S/o Mohd Subhan R/o Wanigam Payeen and Ab Rashid Lone S/o Gh Mohiuddin resident of Satreseeran.
Stating that the action was taken under sections of 83 CRPC and are linked with case FIR No.04/2008 under section 2/3 EIMCO Act,7/25 Indian Arms Act,13 UA (P) Act of Police Station Kreeri, Police in the concluding para of its above quoted statement said that the properties were found belonging to militant handlers during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Police.
