Srinagar: Hurriyat (M) chief Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday inaugurated a café named after Downtown Srinagar in Gojwara area of the capital city.
“Downtown Café’ has a seating capacity of 90 people.
Mirwaiz said that the café will promote tourism in Downtown which remains under siege on most Fridays. He said the café will help in “image makeover” of the area.
The cafe, according to its owners, will serve Continental, Chinese, Italian, Arabian, Afghani, Indian and Kashmiri food.
