DC Rajouri reviews preparedness for upcoming JKSSB examination

Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review the preparedness for the upcoming JKSSB examination for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department scheduled to be held on 23 June, 2024.
The meeting focused on various crucial aspects to ensure a seamless and fair examination process. Regarding the appointments of the Superintendents and Dy Superintendents, the meeting was informed that 15 superintendents and 11 Deputy Superintendents have been appointed besides observers and magistrates have also been appointed.
The examination will take place at 15 examination centres and 7902 candidates are appearing in the examination.
During the meeting, the Observers, Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and Magistrates were briefed in detail on their critical responsibilities to ensure the smooth execution of the JKSSB examination. Emphasizing the significance of their roles in maintaining the integrity of the process, they were apprised of the need for vigilant supervision and adherence to guidelines of JKSSB.
To maintain the integrity of the examination and provide conducive environment for the candidates, several measures have been put in place. Additionally, a strict invigilator-to-student ratio has been established to ensure close monitoring during the examination.
A comprehensive security plan has been devised to safeguard the examination venues, ensuring the safety of both the candidates and examination personnel.
It was decided that mobile phones and other electronic devices would be strictly prohibited within the examination centers.
The Deputy Commissioner expressed the commitment of the district administration to ensuring a smooth and fair conduct of the JKSSB examination on 23 June, 2024. He urged all candidates to fully cooperate with the examination guidelines and adhere to the instructions provided by the examination authorities.
The meeting was attended by the ADC Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria; ASP, Musadiq Majid Basu; ACR, Mohammad Jhangir Khan; Dy DEO, Shakeel Mir; ACP, Sheraz Chowhan; DDE, Zahir Kaifi; CEO, Mohammad Mushtaq and other concerned officers.

JKSSB Exam: Training program for supervisory staff held in Reasi
Reasi : To ensure the fair and transparent conduct of the upcoming OMR- based Written Test for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department, the District Administration Reasi, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB), organized a comprehensive training session for the supervisory staff on Wednesday.
The training was held at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner Complex, Reasi, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Vishesh Mahajan. The primary aim of the session was to sensitize the Center Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, and Invigilation staff about the critical importance of adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and examination regulations.
During the training, key aspects of the examination process were discussed in detail to ensure that the staff is well-versed in the necessary steps to maintain the integrity of the examination. The session underscored the importance of transparency and fairness throughout the examination process.
Atul Gupta, Member of JKSSB, emphasized the significance of the training, aiming to familiarize the supervisory staff with the standard procedures and protocols. He highlighted the necessity for complete transparency and fairness to uphold the credibility of the selection process.
The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for meticulous preparation and instructed all concerned officials to ensure that all arrangements are in place well ahead of the examination date. This includes the provision of essential amenities such as drinking water, proper seating arrangements, and medical facilities at all examination centers.
2721 female candidates are expected to appear in the examination, which will be conducted across 9 centers in Reasi district on June 23, 2024.

DC Rajouri inspects JKSSB examination centres
Rajouri :: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om Prakash Bhagat along with Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria on Wednesday inspected various examination centres in preparation for the upcoming JKSSB examination for the post of Supervisor in the Social Welfare Department, scheduled for June 23, 2024.
The DC visited the examination centres including GHSS Dhangri, New Age Public HSS Dhangri, Himalayan Super School Dhangri and Government Boys Model HSS Rajouri to assess their readiness, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place for a seamless and fair examination process. He reviewed the security measures, seating arrangements, and availability of essential facilities to guarantee a conducive environment for the 7902 candidates expected to appear for the exam.
The DC emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity and smooth conduct of the examination. He expressed satisfaction with the preparedness and reiterated the need for strict adherence to the guidelines
The Deputy Commissioner assured that all possible measures have been taken to prevent any unfair means during the examination. Mobile phones and other electronic devices will be strictly prohibited within the examination centres. A comprehensive security plan has been put in place, with magistrates appointed at all centres to ensure a peaceful and orderly conduct of the examination.
He expressed the commitment of the district administration to uphold the highest standards of integrity and fairness during the examination, ensuring its success for the benefit of the candidates and the region.
With meticulous planning and stringent measures in place, the district administration is confident of conducting the JKSSB examination smoothly on June 23, 2024.

Orientation/ Training Prog for staff deployed for upcoming JKSSB exams held at Shopian
Shopian : The District Administration Shopian on Wednesday held an orientation cum training programme for staff detailed for duties for the upcoming JKSSB exams of Supervisor posts, to be held on 23 June, 2024.
The training programme was held under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb at GDC Shopian Campus.
During the various sessions, conducted by various speakers of District Administration and JKSSB, emphasis was laid on the smooth and hassle free conduct of exams across 10 centres in the district.
Role and responsibilities of staff was highlighted by the speakers, who called upon all stakeholders to be equipped with requisite know-how for the smooth and transparent conduct of examinations.
DC Shopian in his address, asked upon staff for performing the assigned job with great care and diligence. He further instructed the concerned to ensure all arrangements as per SOPs are in place for the convenience of aspirants.
The training programme was attended by SSP, Tanushree; Member, JKSSB, Yar Ali Khan; ADC, Dr.Zakir Hussain Faaz; Principal, GDC Shopian and other officers and staff.
