Khansahib(Budgam)|June, 19 : Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF)and former Minister , Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has called upon the district administration Budgam to make adequate arrangements on the eve of forthcoming annual Urs of Syed Soleh (RA) at Khansahib.
In a statement issued on Wednesday Hakeem urged field functionaries of various concerned government departments to put in place all the required facilities for convenience of devotees who throng in thousands at the shrine to pay obeisance to great sufi saint Hazrat Syed Soleh on annual urs being celebrated from 21June upto 23th June with religious fervour and gaiety .
Hakeem has appealed the officers to make fool proof arrangements for smooth conduct of the annual Urs of the revered saint Syed Soleh (RA) .He has asked the concerned officers to keep essentials commodities readily available for the devotees besides ensuring uninterrupted drinking water and power supply in Khansahib and adjacent areas. . Hakeem also urged officers to make adequate transport arrangements for ferrying devotees upto the mausoleum of Syed soleh at Khan Sahib from various areas . He has emphasized that adequate number of passenger vehicles should be pressed into service on various routes so that devotees do not face any inconvenience.
PDF Chairman has also urged for robust cleanliness and sanitation arrangements adding that garbage collection and its disposal on scientific basis should be ensured on daily basis in and around the shrine of Syed Soleh. He has asked the Municipal authorities to reactivate men and machinery at the ground level. He has also asked the health department to set up special first aid camps on way to Khansahib to meet any exigency. He has urged the administration to provide additional quota of rice , sugar ,LPG and kerosine to the consumers of khansahib area on the occasion of the annual urs to meet thier requirements. The saint Syed Soleh RA is revered in very high esteem and faith by the people from all over the state , Hakeem has maintained ,while praying that the auspicious occasion may prove harbinger of peace , prosperity and tranquility .
