Srinagar: On Saturday, Anti-Narcotics Task Force Kashmir (ANTF Kashmir), a specialized wing to check the rising menace of drugs, in collaboration with NCB Zonal Unit Srinagar and Road Safety Foundation, organized an awareness programme at Ghanta Ghar LalChowk Srinagar.
THe Dy SP Anti-Narcotics Task Force Kashmir gave an elaborated view about the menace of drugs, its sources, causes, consequences and role of every member of the society for its total eradication.
Participants were also appealed to fight against the menace of drugs and were also stressed to share the information related to illicit drug supply in their respective areas, so that appropriate action under law is taken against the drug peddlers/traffickers. Moreover, posters depicting the hazardous impact of drugs were also distributed among citizens.
