World Environmental Week-2024: HKM College Bandipora organizes Painting Competition

Bandipora: In continuation with the series of activities organised to celebrate the World Environmental Week-2024 from 5th June to 11th June 2024, the NSS Units of HKM Degree College Bandipora conducted a Painting Competition, here.
The event was held under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Masood Ahmad Malik, with the presence and support of NSS Programme Officers Prof. Bilquees and Dr. Irshad.
The competition aimed to engage students in creative expression, focusing on the theme of environmental preservation and the relationship between man and nature.
Prof. Bilquees and Dr. Irshad addressed the participants, providing an insightful briefing about the theme’s significance in the current environmental context.
Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their artistic talents and diverse perspectives on environmental issues.
Through their paintings, they expressed a variety of ideas about the environment, its abundance, the importance of preservation, and the intricate relationship between humans and nature.
The event provided a platform for students to reflect on and visually communicate their thoughts on these critical topics.
The Painting Competition was a successful and enriching event, highlighting the creativity and environmental awareness among the students of HKM Degree College Bandipora. The activity not only celebrated World Environmental Week but also fostered a deeper understanding and appreciation for the environment among the participants.
