Samba: A district level Essay Writing Competition on the topic “A Living Witness: An Essay through the eye of a Tree” under ECO-Clubs Summer Camps was held on Wednesday at Government Boys Higher Secondary School Samba.
The Programme was held under the Banner of Eco Clubs Summer Camps organized from June 5, 2024 to June 12, 2024 at Complex Level under SamagraShiksha.
During the Summer Camps students from all the Government High & Higher Secondary Schools participated in different activities organised as per schedule issued by the Education Directorate.
Meritorious Student from each Complex participated in the district level Essay Writing Competition. The programme was also attended by the DEPO BishamberDass Sharma, the host school Principal BhavnaAbrol, Principal Boys GHSS Sat Paul Bhagat and subject experts.
KashishChoudhary from GHSS Nandpur stood 1st, DaminiSambyal from Girls GHSS Samba stood 2nd, and Janvi Rajput from HSS Jakh bagged 3rd position in the competition. The first three winners were awarded Mementos, while other participating candidates were presented appreciation certificates
The programme concluded with vote of Thanks to the participants.
