Govt GLDM Degree College Hiranagar organises awareness lecture on Career opportunities

Kathua : Career Counselling Cell and NSS unit of Government GirdhariLalDogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar on Saturday organised an Awareness lecture on Career opportunities for graduate students here under the guidance of the College Principal Dr PragyaKhanna.
As many as 50 students actively participated in the programme and raised many queries regarding career and professional choices in future.
The Chief Guest for the Programme was Convener Career Counselling Cell and Head, Department of English Prof Bindu Sharma.
The programme began with the formal welcome address by Prof ShapiaShameem, Assistant Professor in Education. She formally introduced the guests and Resource Persons from Mahadev Centre of Excellence- a leading institute from Kathua imparting guidance for civil services and other competitive exa
Advocate Pallavi, a social activist and educator was the guest of honour and Mr R.K Jha and team from Delhi were the resource persons. Prof Bindu Sharma motivated the students to wisely choose their careers from on Saturday only as the right decision at the right time can be instrumental for success in life.
The programme was coordinated by Dr RajniBala, Head Department of Sociology and concluded with the formal vote of thanks by Dr Rakesh Sharma, Head Dept of Hindi. Dr.Ramkrishan, NSS Program Officer, Dr Rajesh Sharma, Prof Amit Kumar Sharma, Prof Ganga Sharma, Dr PoonamKumari, Dr Vijay Chauhan and other faculty members of the college graced the occasion.
