DHS Jammu visits SDH Bhaderwah, inspects healthcare facilities

Doda : On the second day of his tour to District Doda, Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. RakeshMagotra, on Friday visited Government Sub District Hospital (SDH), Bhaderwah to evaluate the healthcare services and facilities available for the community. The visit was part of the ongoing efforts by the Health Department to monitor and improve healthcare standards across the region.
During the visit, the DHS Jammu inspects different departments within Bhaderwah Hospital, including the Emergency ward, inpatient units, outpatient clinics, Labor Room, and diagnostic facilities.
The purpose of the visit was to gain firsthand knowledge about the hospital’s infrastructure, patient care procedures and overall healthcare delivery system.
Dr. RakeshMagotra engaged in discussions with the hospital administration, medical staff, and frontline healthcare workers. He exchanged valuable insights and ideas on ways to enhance the quality and accessibility of healthcare services in Bhaderwah Hospital. The Director Health Services Jammu acknowledged the dedication and hard work of the healthcare professionals, expressing gratitude for their tireless efforts in serving the community.
Dr. Magotra emphasized the importance of continuous improvement in healthcare delivery, focusing on patient-centered care and efficient healthcare management. He also highlighted the significance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness, infection control, and adherence to medical protocols for the safety and well-being of patients. He inquired about the availability of medicines, diagnostic facilities, and other services at the hospital and interacted with patients and their attendants to assess their satisfaction with the care provided at SDH Bhaderwah.
Later, DHS Jammu held a brief meeting with the staff members of SDH Bhaderwah and listened to their grievances. Dr. Magotra was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Om Kumar and DIO Doda Dr. Versha Sharma, while BMO BhaderwahDr.Mohd Ashraf and other medical and paramedical staff from SDH Bhaderwah.
