Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday held a roadshow in this pilgrim town after paying obeisance at the Ram Temple.

After performing aarti at the temple, Modi sought victory for the party’s candidates in the Lok Sabha election.

Emerging from the temple, the Prime Minister left for the road show from Sugriva Fort to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk. The road show took place about two kilometres away from the temple.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Lok Sabha candidate and MP Lallu Singh were present with him in the “chariot”. The PM stood on the “chariot” and greeted the public.

A large crowd had gathered on the side of the road and showered flowers on the PM.

The convoy reached Lata Mangeshkar Chowk, where the PM’s road show ended. During the road show, cultural programmes were also organised at various places on the Rampath road by dividing it into forty blocks.

The public was kept inside by barricading both sides of the roads. The Prime Minister greeted the public by shaking hands. The Prime Minister was showing the lotus logo to the public in one hand.

The saints, mahants, and Batuks were welcomed by blowing conch shells.

Earlier, Modi was given a grand welcome on his arrival at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport.

This was Modi’s second roadshow in Ayodhya. He had also done a roadshow on September 30, 2023.
