SDM Karnah extensively tours different areas close to LoC, Takes stock of the restoration work of road connectivity

Kupwara : The Sub-divisional Magistrate (SDM) Karnah, Zaffar Ahmad Lone on Tuesday undertook an extensive tour of different areas of the sub-division to assess the situation and oversee restoration efforts amidst road connectivity challenges in the region.
The SDM inspected several villages, including Khawarpara, Nawagabra (Konagabra), Hajitra, Dhani, Sudhpora, Taad, Amrohi, Chitterkote, Gundigujraan, Draggard, and Gundisharth. He took stock of restoration work on road connectivity which is underway, with machinery from R&B, PMGSY, and BEACON.
He emphasized the importance of restoring road connectivity to facilitate the movement of residents and essential services. An alternative route for the residents of village Gundigujraan has been restored via Gundisharth-Draggard Road, providing relief to the affected communities.
Directions were issued to all line departments to reach every corner of the Sub Division to address the grievances of the people effectively.
