Srinagar, Apr 17: Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, RR Swain Wednesday extended heartfelt greetings to the people, the families of police martyrs, all ranks of J&K Police, security forces, and their families on the auspicious occasion of the Ram Navmi.
The DGP said that the teachings of Shri Ram have always guided the humanity regarding righteousness, truthfulness, sacrifice, valour, respect for traditions and values. He has expressed hope that this festival will further foster the spirit of unity, harmony and brotherhood among the people.
Wishing the people a happy Ram Navami, the DGP called upon people to be aware of anti social, anti national elements, whose only motive is to disturb the hard earned peace and destroy the lives of new generations.
