Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Thursday conducted an extensive tour of upper reaches of the far- flung Bothu village and inspected various aspects at the village.
The DC interacted with locals, listened to their issues, and assured them resolution of their genuine grievances.
During the visit, he also visited High School Buthoo to assess the infrastructure and educational resources in the School.
While interacting with teachers and students, the DC emphasized the importance of quality education in shaping the future of youth.
He also visited the shrine of Hazrat Bibi Arifa popularly known as “Ded Mouj” to assess the arrangements for Jumat ul Vida and Shab e Qadr.
The DC took stock of facilities available for devotees at the shrine.
Local Auqaaf committee members apprised the DC regarding various works taken up and put forth various demands.
