Poetry recitation Prog organised at GDC Sumbal

Bandipora: Government Degree College (GDC) Sumbal on Saturday organised a poetry recitation programme.
The programme was organised by the Literary Club GDC Sumbal under the patronage of the Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shabeena Iqbal Shawl and was attended by faculty members, participants from GDC Bandipora, GDC Sumbal and a large number of students.
At the outset, the principal laid emphasis on the fact that students must participate in curricular, co curricular and extracurricular activities for their all round development.
The opening remarks were presented by Dr. Shaista Ahmad, Convener Literary Club in which she highlighted the significant role played by poetry in an individual’s intellectual and moral growth.
The poetry recitation session was followed by the felicitation of all the participants.
