Lok Sabha Election-2024: General Training for Poll Staff commences at G’bal

Ganderbal: The District Election Office, Ganderbalon Monday started the general training for poll staff, drafted to perform duties in the upcoming General Elections to LokSabha, 2024.
The training started on 25th March 2024 and will be conducted at three different venues across the district till 30th of March 2024.
The training program aims to equip the poll staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure a smooth and efficient election process.
It is scheduled to cover various aspects of election duty, including the operation of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines, the process of polling, and the handling of various election-related documents.
The training is being imparted by the District Level Master Trainers.
The District Election Office has made all necessary arrangements to ensure that the training is conducted in a safe and conducive environment.
The venues for the training have been chosen keeping in mind the convenience of the poll staff and are equipped with all necessary facilities.
