Rajouri : NSS Unit of Government Degree College (GDC), Budhal, in collaboration with District SVEEP Cell (DSC), Rajouri, on Wednesday organized awarenessprogramme on the theme ‘No voter to be left behind’.
The event aimed to educate students on the importance of their participation in the democratic process.
The event saw an overwhelming participation from students and staff.
During the programme, Dr. AdilHussainKhandey, Lecturer Political Science delivered an informative lecture on ‘the role of a vote in the development of a nation’. His insightful lecture highlighted the crucial role each voter plays in shaping the future of the country.
Prof. Manzoor Ahmed Dar, HOD Botany and member of DSC Rajouri, shared his perspective on topic, further enriching the audiences understanding of the subject.
Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) MohdMazammalHussain lauded the efforts of NSS unit of College and DSC, Rajouri for organizing such an event to spread awareness about elections and their importance. He highlighted that such events are need of the day to instil a sense of civic responsibility among the student community.
