Jammu : District Election Officer, Sachin Kumar Vaishya held a meeting with various bankers in view of the Lok Sabha Elections.
The DEO discussed the electoral process and the bankers’ important role in it. Bankers were instructed to monitor unusual transactions closely and report any suspicious activity.
Sachin Kumar emphasised the importance of adhering to banking norms and maintaining customer privacy. He also enlightened all about the cVIGIL app, which allows the public to report any violations of the Model Code of Conduct or irregularities in the electoral process.
The meeting was also attended by ADDC Sher Singh, ADC Shishir Gupta and LDM Romesh Chander.
