DC Inaugurates Quarter Final Of Cricket Tournament At Govt Pg College Rajouri

Rajouri: District Election Officer Rajouri Om ParkashBhagat inaugurated Quarter final of ongoing cricket tournament jointly organized by SVEEP Cell of District Election Officer Rajouri and Physical and Sports Department Government PG Rajouri under the supervision of Physical Director, Mukesh Kumar; Assistant Physical Director Tanwir Ahmed Choudhary and Prof. Mohammad IqbalRaina, Nodal Officer SVEEP.
Nine teams are participating in the Tournament being held under the guidance and supervision of District Election Officer Om ParkashBhagat and the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shamim Ahmed Azad as a part of vigorous SVEEP activities across the District.
District election Officer Rajouri Om ParkashBhagat interacted with the players of the teams and appreciated the players and District SVEEP team for such activities to create mass awareness regarding the importance of votes in democracy. This tournament is being coordinated by the Physical Department P.G. College Rajouri and SVEEP Cell of District Rajouri.
The other Dignitaries accompanied by the District Election Officer were Principal of the college, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajeev Khajuria, Additional SP Rajouri, Nodal Officer SVEEP and Assistant Physical Director. All Faculty members and students participated in this event.
