Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman on Thursday flagged off a group of 25 progressive farmers & orchardists for an exposure tour to SKAUST-K Wadoora campus.
The exposure tour had been organised by the Department of Horticulture Bandipora under the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) to provide farmers with first-hand experience and knowledge-sharing opportunities in diverse agricultural landscapes.
While interacting with the farmers, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized upon farmers to avail this opportunity to exchange experience and a holistic understanding of sustainable agricultural practices.
The Deputy Commissioner was informed that during the exposure tour, farmers will have unique opportunities to interact with experts, researchers, and fellow practitioners to enhance agricultural productivity.
Chief Horticulture Officer Bandipora, along with other officers and officials of the Horticulture Department, were present on the occasion.
