Weekly Block Diwas: DC Rajouri holds Public Outreach Camp at LarokaPanchayat of Border Block Qila Darhal

Rajouri:: Demonstrating a proactive and community-centered approach to address public concerns, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Om PrakashBhagaton Wednesday chaired a public outreach camp/weekly Block Diwas at LarokaPanchayat of border block QilaDarhal.
This event facilitated a constructive dialogue where both the public and their representatives discussed a wide range of urgent issues, including; the pressing need for road repairs, the upgradation and availability of adequate staff in government institutions, water scarcity, and enhancing the healthcare infrastructure.
Specific issues which were highlighted during the event were repairing the transformer at Laroka, construction of boundary wall for HS Laroka and HSS Lam, repair of old hand pumps, repair of road from Laroka to Kansar, construction of road from TegBahadur to JabbarMohalla, demand of receiving station, sanctioning a KV school at QilaDarhal etc.
The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the commitment of the district administration to provide quality essential services to the people. He expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in achieving the set targets of key central schemes and encouraged them to continue their hard work for the welfare of the public.
Furthermore, Deputy Commissioner Om Prakash Bhagat assured the public that their grievances and concerns had been carefully documented and would be addressed on top priority.
The Deputy Commissioner reassured that piped water connections would be provided to every household in the district through the JalJeevan Mission (JJM). He emphasised that the administration is relentlessly working towards making every possible effort to achieve this vital objective.
He emphasized that a number of vital projects are under execution in the border block of QilaDarhal showcasing the unwavering dedication of the administration to the development and progress of this strategic region.
Regarding the ongoing developmental projects, the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri directed the concerned officers to expedite progress and ensure timely completion. Recognizing the importance of the role these projects play in the growth of the region, he stressed the significance of efficient execution to bring tangible improvements to the community.
Regarding curbing the menace of drug abuse from the district, he appealed to the public, emphasizing the importance of their support in collaboration with the administration to effectively combat the issue of drug abuse within the district.
The Deputy Commissioner also actively sought feedback regarding the implementation of various governmental schemes in the area, displaying a strong commitment to ensuring the efficient execution of these programs for the benefit of the of public.
The public outreach camp was attended by the SSP, Amrit Pal Singh; ADC Nowshera, Babu Ram Tandan; CPO, Maqsood Ahmed; Dy DEO, Shakeel Ahmed; DDE, ZaheerKaifi; EXEN PDD Rajouri, TehsildarQilaDarhal; Mohd Rashid; EXEN Jal Shakti Nowshera, Bipin Kumar; EXEN PWD(R&B) Nowshera, VK Raina; EXEN REW, Zahir Khan and other concerned officers.
