Gunmen ransack police officer’s house in Tral

Pulwama/Oct,22: Suspected militants Saturday evening ransacked the house of a police officer in Batagund Village of Tral area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district .

An official said that militants at about 10.00 P.M Saturday evening vandalised the house of ASI Ghulam Ahmed Bhat in Batagund village. ASI’s son Suhail Bhat said “few masked gunmen came inside our house and vandalized the property. Our family members, including my father immediately fled from the house.” Soon after the incident, forces rushed to the spot and conducted searches to nab the assailants. Houses of two PDP workers were also ransacked by suspected militants Saturday evening in Tral and Shopian areas.
