Pulwama: The District Development Council (DDC) member for Tral block and PDP spokesman, Dr Harbakash Singh on Thursday visited Bhatnoor and Nanar villages of Tral sub division to listen to the public grievances and to review the developmental works. He was accompanied by PDP zonal president Tral, Qutub Din Shah.
In a statement, Dr Harbakash Singh said that, “to conduct public outreach programs, i visited Bhatnoor & Nanar villages of Tral today to listen to the grievances of people, wherein locals raised their demands particularly about water, electricity, link roads and health.”
Singh said that he also held review meeting with the officials of line departments, particularly with RDD officials, and discussed about the upcoming work plan in Bhatnoor & other areas.
About Sub Health Centre at Bhatnoor Tral, he said that the centre as per the inauguration stone is NTPHC, but is lacking staff, as the centre was upgraded only with the new building, while no additional staff was deployed in it.
“It is very sad to see that NTPHC building constructed at Bhatnoor is yet to have staff as per the Primary Health Centre norms. I will talk to Commissioner/ Secretary Health & Director Health Services Kashmir regarding the issue, so that additional staff is ensured in the hospital,” Dr Harbakash Singh added.
Moreover, along with PDP zone president Tral Qutub Din, Dr Harbakash interacted with party workers and asked them to begin campaign on ground ahead of Parliament elections, scheduled to be held this year, and make every effort to make the party more stronger for the same.
Earlier, Dr Singh visited Khasdi, Karmulla, Nagbal, Rathsuna, Aripal, Wazilkulnad & other areas of Tral sub district to conduct such programs with the motive to listen to the grievances of people ahead of winter.
