ACD chairs review meeting of RDD works in Block Kishtwar

Kishtwar : Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar, Phulail Singh on Wednesday presided over a pivotal review meeting on Wednesday at the Block Development Office Kishtwar. The session brought together key stakeholders including Block Development Officer Kishtwar, Sumit Singh, dealing assistants, Panchayat secretaries and GRSs.
At the outset, BDO Kishtwar and officials welcomed ACD Kishtwar, thereafter the meeting delved into a thorough evaluation of progress under various developmental initiatives, including District Capex Budget, CD & Pyt, MGNREGA, PMAY, Construction of Panchayat Ghars, and other pertinent activities.
During the review of MGNREGA and PMAY-G advancements at the block level, ACD emphasized timely payments, quality checks, aadhar seeding, shelf of works, digitization of MGNREGA Plans, Geo tagging of assets, transaction reconciliation, and NREGA Mobile Monitoring System (NMMS).
BDO Kishtwar, Sumeet Singh, received directives to ensure adherence to these parameters.
The ACD further directed BDO, field functionaries, and Panchayts Secretaries to meet the set deadlines for achieving their targets, emphasizing the importance of completion within the stipulated timeframes.
In regard to the progress of District Capex Budget and CD & Pyt, the engineering staff received directives to conclude the billing process for all ongoing projects in the district within a week. Emphasis was placed on processing bills for all works, ensuring 100% physical and financial progress by the end of FY 2023-24.
Reviewing the construction of essential infrastructure such as Panchayat Ghars, Community Soakage pits, Segregation sheds, IHHL, Aspirational Panchayat Portal, ACD urged BDO Kishtwar to meet targets and maximize community benefits.
ACD underscored the need for a synchronized and target-driven approach among all field functionaries, emphasizing the collective responsibility to ensure successful project completion.
