DPO B’pora reviews functioning of Poshan Abhiyaan, Directs for timely utilization of funds

Bandipora : The District Programme Officer (DPO) Poshan Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Bhatt convened a meeting to review the functioning of the department and to assess the utilization of funds released under various schemes of the department.
The DPO took a review of the implementation of various schemes and programmes being implemented by the department. He emphasized on the timely utilization of funds and the submission of utilization certificates to the higher authorities by the Child Development Project officers.
He also instructed officials to adhere to the guidelines and norms of the schemes in order to avoid any lapses or irregularities. He further stressed on the importance of regular monitoring and supervision of the field functionaries and the Anganwadi centres.
Bhatt also appreciated the efforts of the field functionaries for their tireless efforts for the implementation of government schemes and providing essential services to the deserving beneficiaries. He urged the officials to continue their work with dedication and sincerity and to achieve the targets and goals set by the department.
The meeting was attended by the Child Development Project Officers (CDPOs), Supervisors and by the senior officials of the department.
