DC reviews achievements under Capex Budget in Samba Distt

Samba : District Development Commissioner Samba, Abhishek Sharma, on Tuesday chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess Developmental Works under District Capex/UT Capex and CSS across all departments here in the conference hall of the District Administrative Complex.
The meeting commenced with a review of action taken by the respective departments on the demands and grievances raised by people during the public outreach camps and weekly Block Diwas programs.
Discussions then delved into the Status of the Border Area Development Programme, with the specific directives to expedite Bunker construction in the border areas.
Further, the chair reviewed the status of works under District Capex/UT Capex and CSS. The DC asked stakeholder departments to expedite the allotment of tender of pending projects. Observing that the certain tendered works were un-initiated on the ground, the DC asked the concerned authorities to start the work on priority.
Status of PM Vishwakarma scheme was sought from the concerned department.
The EOs of civic bodies were tasked to further intensify the registration under the PM Vishwakarma. While taking the detailed review of the Poshan Project, PO ICDS was instructed to address Vacancy/recruitment and salary issues of AnganwadiSanginis/Sahayikas on priority.
Emphasis was placed on the submission of MGNREGA convergence plans.The status of camps and training being conducted by Agriculture and allied department under HADP was sought. It was directed that Beneficiary stories of HADP should be publicised widely for awareness. Collaboration with Self Help Groups for synergy with various schemes was stressed and need for for livelihood enhancement of citizens was underscored.
Directives were issued to the Education Department to prioritize learning outcomes and reduce dropout rates to ensure no child remains out of school.
Finally, all concerned departments were urged to prioritize the coverage of labor/eligibility citizens under various Social Security Schemes.
Key attendees included ADDC Samba Rajinder Singh, PO ICDS Samba Dr. Subash, CPO Samba KasturiLal, ACR Samba KusumChib, and other District Officers of District Administration Samba.
