Pulwama: Embarking on a new chapter in cricket, the ‘Young Panthers’ team establishes itself in the scenic village of ‘Check’ in Tral Pulwama. Led by Captain Faizan Gulzar, Vice Captain Yasir Altaf, Advisor Showkat Ahmad Mir, Spokesperson Azhar Ayoub, and Coach Hamid Mir, the team is dedicated to intertwining the thrill of cricket with an unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability.

With the endorsement of Rj Umar Nisar, recognizing the transformative power of sports, the Young Panthers aim not just to promote cricket among the youth but also actively address climate issues, positioning themselves as pioneers at the crossroads of sports and environmental advocacy.

Articulating his vision, Rj Umar Nisar states, “Under the Young Panthers banner, our goal is to instill environmental responsibility in the youth, using cricket as a catalyst for positive change.”

Nestled in the heart of Tral Pulwama, the Young Panthers plan to involve local communities through tree-planting initiatives, awareness campaigns, and educational programs on climate change. Captain Faizan Gulzar underscores the team’s commitment to making a lasting impact beyond the cricket field.

“We’re more than just a cricket team; we are ambassadors for environmental consciousness. Our objective is to inspire and mobilize the community towards sustainable practices,” asserts Captain Faizan Gulzar.

Azhar Ayoub, the team’s spokesperson, adds, “Young Panthers will not only compete on the cricket ground but also strive to be champions in contributing to a greener and healthier planet.”

As the Young Panthers gear up for their inaugural season, the invaluable support and guidance of Advisor Showkat Ahmad Mir will play a pivotal role in shaping the team’s mission for both on-field success and environmental stewardship.
