Srinagar: Below is the timeline of the engagements of J&K Lt Governor Manoj Sinha at major public events held within and outside Jammu & Kashmir this week:-
On Jan 21, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha dedicated the 34th edition of ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’ programme to the citizens of Jammu Kashmir for their historic participation in ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’. He said “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a powerful Jan-Abhiyan initiative to reach out to the vulnerable section of society will create a new future for developed India.

On Jan 22, LG Sinha congratulated young maestro Ishfaq Hamid on winning Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar He said his achievements in the field of art & culture have brought immense pride to J&K. His success continue to inspire others to pursue their artistic passion.
On Jan 24, J&K scripted a new record by providing entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities to 94,680 youth in a single day. The function was presided over by Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha at the Convention Centre just two days before the celebration of 75th Republic Day. The Lt Governor congratulated the Jammu Kashmir Bank for its endeavour to strengthen the spirit of Ghar Ghar KCC Abhiyaan and Swarozgar Utsav – two ongoing campaigns aimed at financial empowerment of farmers and the youth.
On Jan 24, Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha extended his felicitations to the people of Uttar Pradesh on their Foundation. The event was graced by the senior Government officials, students and the people of Uttar Pradesh living in J&K who were the special invitees.
On Jan 25, On the eve of 75th Republic Day, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched E-Bus Services for Jammu Smart City, through virtual mode. Union Home Minister also handed over appointment letters to 209 candidates of J&K selected through Combined Competitive Exams and released 885 compassionate appointment letters on the occasion. Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, in his address, expressed gratitude to the Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah for giving highest priority to overall progress of J&K.
On Jan 25, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha extended his heartiest greetings and felicitations to the people on the occasion of 75th Republic Day. In a message, the Lt Governor said: “On the occasion of 75th Republic Day, I extend my heartiest greetings to all the citizens. On this day, I pay my tributes to the Bravehearts of Jammu Kashmir Police, Armed Forces, CAPFs and our freedom fighters who made supreme sacrifices for the unity and integrity of our great nation.
On Jan 25, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the celebration of 14th National Voters’ Day at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. He extended his greetings to all sections of the society and officers of the election department for easier and convenient enrolment.
On Jan 26, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha unfurled the National Flag at the main Republic Day event on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, at MA Stadium Jammu. He inspected the contingents of the Republic Day Parade and took the ceremonial salute.
On Jan 26, Jammu, January 26: Jammu Kashmir Raj Bhawan celebrated Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu Union Territory Day. On the occasion, the Lt Governor extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu Union Territory on their formation day. On this day (26th January) Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu were merged to form the new Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
