DM XI Udhampur defeats CRPF XI in T-20 Cricket Match

Udhampur: In an impressive T-20 cricket match organized by Orzu Sports, Cultural, and Educational Trust, sponsored by Landmark Crafts Pvt Ltd, DM XI Udhampur secured a commanding 80-run victory over CRPF XI.
Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, CRPF XI faced a daunting target of 217 runs in 20 overs set by DM XI under the captaincy of Rafiq Ahmad Jaral ACR Udhampur.
Vikram Jamwal stole the show with an outstanding performance, scoring 109 runs in 44 balls, earning him the Man of the Match title. Supported by 22 from Sachin and 27 from Rajinder Digra, DIO Udhampur who constructed inning in the middle order and set a stage for bid target DM XI showcased a formidable batting display. In pursuit of the target, CRPF XI was bowled out at 135, with Ashwani Kotwal taking four wickets for DM XI, and other bowlers contributing to the team’s success.
The jersey of DM XI was proudly sponsored and crafted by Akhil Mahajan, the owner of Muscle & Strength Outlet Udhampur. District Magistrate Udhampur, Saloni Rai, ADDC Ghan Sham Singh, ADC Joginder Singh Jasrotia, and CPO Mudassir Yaqoob Zargar congratulated the team, encouraging them to participate in more tournaments for the holistic well-being of youth and promote a healthy lifestyle while discouraging drug use.
District Magistrate Udhampur, Saloni Rai consistently advocates for sports activities in the district, emphasizing the importance of keeping officers and officials actively engaged in physical pursuits alongside their professional responsibilities.
