Srinagar| Jan,6: Below is the timeline of the weeklong activities of Jammu & Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha:-
On Jan 01: The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, has greeted the people on the eve of New Year 2024. In his message the Lt Governor has said “As the New Year dawns, let us renew our resolve to maintain the momentum towards higher economic growth, inclusive development, well-being of all and overall progress of J&K.
On Jan 02: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah chaired a review meeting on the security situation of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, in wake of the recent militant attack there. The meeting was attended by Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary, Chief of Army Staff, Director (IB), Heads of CAPFs, Chief Secretary & DGP, UT of Jammu and Kashmir attended the meeting held in New Delhi.


0n Jan 04: January 04: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha addressed the 8th Convocation Ceremony of SKUAST Jammu at Baba Jitto Auditorium and a total of 590 students including 347 female students were awarded degrees in various subjects. On the occasion, the Lt Governor congratulated the graduating students, teachers and staff of the SKUAST Jammu and all those researchers, innovators, who are contributing in building the University into a centre of excellence for Agricultural Science and Technology.
On Jan 05, January 04, delegation of prominent writers led by Ramesh Arora, former MLC called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan. The delegation was comprised of Prof. Lalit Magotra, Dr. Nirmal Vinod and Sh Brij Mohan. Javed Ahmad Tenga, President, KCCI, and Gaurav Gupta, Honorary Secretary, Jammu Club and former Secretary General, Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu also called on the Lt Governor.
On Jan 05, a delegation of Candidates selected for various posts in Government departments through J&K Service Selection Board called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan. The members of the delegation expressed gratitude to the Lt Governor for the fast-track selection process.
Masarat Kar, former President Municipal Council Sopore called on the Lt Governor and apprised him of various developmental issues of Sopore. Later, a delegation of the Industrial Association Lassipora (IAL) also called on the Lt Governor. On Jan 06, Air Vice Marshal Vikram Gaur AVSM VSM, Air Officer Commanding Jammu Kashmir & Ladakh called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan
