Jammu : In view of extreme cold weather conditions the Directorate of School Education Jammu on Saturday announced extension in winter vacations till January 12 in schools of Summer Zone.
The DSEJ in an order said that the winter vacations of Government and Private recognised schools functioning in Summer Zones of Jammu Division are further extended till 12-01-2024.
“However, all the teaching staff shall resume their duties w.e.f 08-01-2024 and HOIs shall ensure classes for Class 10th to 12th through online mode during the extended vacation period,” reads the order.
“Any laxity in this regard from any Government and Private Schools shall be viewed seriously and dealt under rules”, reads the order further.
