Jammu : In a remarkable feat, PP Chinore Jammu has apprehended cattle thieves. Acting on a complaint received on 21/12/2023 about the abduction of cattle from Durga Nagar, a dedicated team swiftly initiated an investigation, leading to the registration of an FIR at PS Domana.
Under the leadership of I/C Police Post Chinore, the relentless efforts of special police teams paid off. Utilizing multiple CCTV footages, the teams successfully identified and arrested the culprits—Mohd Mansha alias Gunu (S/O Mohd Yousuf) from Raipur Jagir Teh Marh and Mohd Saleem (S/O Mohd Lal) from Gool Gujral Camp Talab Tillo.
During questioning, the accused confessed to their involvement, providing crucial information that led to the recovery of the Mahindra load carrier (registration no. JK19A 3378) used in the crime.
