R-day 2024 arrangements reviewed at Bhaderwah
Bhaderwah : Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhadarwah, Dil Mir Choudhary on Thursday convened a meeting to discuss the arrangements for the celebration of upcoming Republic day 2024.
Discussions centered on security, first aid, sanitation, Fire and Emergency Services, Seating arrangements, Power & water Supply, and issuance of invitation cards. The departments were asked to illuminate the Government buildings and offices on the National Event.
All the concerned departments were directed to put in place all the required arrangements before 24th January the day of full dress rehearsal.
During the meeting , it was apprised that venue of the function will be the New Bus stand kotli Bhadarwah, where National Flag will be unfurled at 9:55 AM and the contingents of JKAP, NCC Senior Division, NCC Junior Division and Tinny Platoons from Government/Private Schools shall perform March past parade. Besides, cultural programs will be performed by the students of various schools.
It was also decided that the day shall start with playing of Shenai Vadan by the Information Department Bhaderwah.
The Full Dress Rehearsal of the programme will be held on 24th January 2024.
The meeting was attended by ASP Bhadarwah,2 IC 4RR Bhadarwah, Tehsildar Bhalla, BDO Bhadarwah, CDPO Bhadarwah AEE Jal Shakti Bhadarwah,AEE JPDCL Bhadarwah,TSO Bhadarwah,TSWO Bhadarwah , and other representatives of various departments.
Kishtwar Admin discusses arrangements for Republic Day 2024
Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav on Thursday chaired a meeting of line departments and other stakeholders here in the Conference Hall of DC Office Complex to discuss the arrangements for the celebration of Republic Day 2024.
The meeting was informed that the main function would be held at district headquarter Kishtwar, while local administration would hold celebrations at Sub-Division, Block and Tehsil levels.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the district heads of different departments to ensure their presence as well as the subordinate officers and officials in the R- Day function both at the district headquarter as well as SDM, Tehsil and Block levels.
The arrangements for unfurl of flag, March past, Cultural items, sitting arrangements, stage setting and Venue preparation and refreshment for the R-Day celebration were discussed in the meeting. It was informed that the day would begin with the playing of Shanai Vadan.
Besides, directions were given to Police Authorities to make foolproof security arrangements.
The concerned departments were instructed to ensure the adequate provision of drinking water, power supply, Medicare facility, sanitation, transport, traffic regulation, illumination of government buildings, deployment of fire tenders, seating arrangement, besides distribution of invitations etc.
The Deputy Commissioner assigned the responsibilities for different arrangements to each department and constituted several Committees to monitor the process.
Senior officers of Civil and Police administration besides other stakeholders gave valuable suggestions to make the R-Day celebration a grand event in the district.

Commissioner Panchayats Zakir Hussain Wani,Tehsildar headquarter Chander Shekhar Sharma, Dy. SP Hq,Dy SP DAR, besides other District officers, officers of CRPF, Army and representatives of different departments and Educational institutions.
