Saurabh Bhagat chairs awareness prog on PM Vishwakarma Yojana at ITI Kathua

Kathua : The Government ITI Kathua hosted a significant event aimed at raising awareness about implementation of prestigious PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
Commissioner Secretary, Skill Development Department, Saurabh Bhagat, inaugurated the event which was also attended by Director, Skill Development Department, Sudershan Kumar and other senior officers.
During the interaction with the participants, Saurabh Bhagat emphasised the importance of being aware of the benefits offered by the PM Vishwakarma Yojana. He further enlightened the students on the crucial role skill training plays in fostering self-employment opportunities.
The program saw active participation from various stakeholders including Principal of Govt ITI Hiranagar, Mandeep Dogra, Vijay Kumar (Senior Faculty) besides other staff members and students.
Earlier, Superintendent, Government ITI Kathua, Ajay Kumar, provided insights into the institute’s noteworthy achievements. He said that Government ITI Kathua remains committed towards empowering the youth with valuable skills and knowledge, aligning with the visionary PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
The event served as a platform for fostering awareness and understanding of the scheme’s benefits among the students, contributing to the broader goal of skill development and self-employment.
