Anantnag : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a transformative initiative spearheaded by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is making significant strides in Block Larnoo Anantnag, witnessing overwhelming public participation during its visit to Deesu, Gadvail, Khrety, Larnoo, Kharpora, Arthur, Rein, and Nowbugh. Initiated from Khunti, Jharkhand, on November 15, the Yatra aims to create awareness about diverse welfare schemes and foster active participation in the spirit of “Jan Bhagidari” to achieve 100% saturation.
The Government of India’s unprecedented effort is set to touch every corner of the nation, spanning 2.60 lakh Gram Panchayats and over 4000 urban local bodies by January 25, 2024.
The Yatra, extending beyond promises, showcases tangible improvements and has exceeded expectations in Anantnag, uniting over 2.50 lakh participants across 335 Gram Panchayats and 138 Urban local bodies. In District Anantnag, the Yatra camps transformed into lively hubs, engaging people in events and offering on-the-spot services. Health camps played a crucial role, screening 93,347 individuals for prevalent health concerns such as TB, sickle cell anemia, and non-communicable diseases.
Over 16,097 My Bharat volunteers and 2.28 lakh individuals pledged the transformative “Sankalp Pledge” in District Anantnag. Noteworthy contributors, including 1,288 women, 3,601 students, 396 local artists, and 397 sports personalities, received accolades for their dedication. The Yatra actively involved farmers through drone demonstrations and Soil Health Card sessions, promoting sustainable Natural Farming practices. It celebrated milestones in 100% JJM saturation, ODF+ status, and Digitization of Land Records. At the core were 9,777 beneficiaries sharing their stories in “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” sessions, illustrating the profound impact of government schemes on their lives.

Reasi : To cover all left out beneficiaries of several Central Government schemes by reaching them directly, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Van on Tuesday reached 4 more panchayats of district Reasi covering Kothian and Mallas of the district.
The IEC Van having information, education and communication (IEC) materials like pamphlets, and booklets on the various central government schemes spread public awareness at various places in the district as per a pre-defined schedule.
The Van is equipped with a sound system and digital LED screen to showcase videos of the Prime Minister’s address, videos of beneficiaries and some other small awareness movies. During the event, attendees took the Sankalp (pledge) in line with the vision of the Viksit Bharat campaign.
Earlier, on its arrival, the Yatra was enthusiastically welcomed at these Panchayats. The local People and representatives of Panchayati Raj Institutions and government officials attended the events at the respective location amid a dynamic cultural events and myriads of initiatives.
