Hakeem  seeks more selections from Kashmir based Police SI aspirants,  Appeals Modi,Shah to announce holistic employment package for JK youth

Srinagar|Jan,2: Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (J&K PDF ) and former Minister Hakeem Yaseen has urged  LG Manoj Sinha to address reservations expressed by the aspirants about  selection  of police  Sub Inspector ( SI) vacancies wherein only 190 candidates from Kashmir have been selected, out of a total of 300 vacancies .He said police  SI aspirant want more candidates from Kashmir to be selected against SI vacancies .
          In a statement issued on Monday Hakeem while advocating the cause of Police SI aspirants ,  has made a fervent  appeal to  LG Manoj Sinha to select more candidates as SI of police  from Kashmir region to address their grievance. He said aspirants of SI vacancies from kashmir region feel disillusioned  to see alleged  discrepancy in the selection list issued by the J&K SSB recently.  He said the injustice needs to be done away with immediately to restore hope and confidence  among the Kashmir based aspirants. 
 PDF Chairman said that the unemployment problem in Jammu and Kashmir  has assumed an alarming proportion which was eating vitals of the society . He said unemployment in Kashmir was one of the several main causes of turmoil that has  gripped the whole region since 1990 . “ Growing drug abuse and suicidal tendencies  among the youth in Kashmir was also the outcome of grim  unemployment problem  ,“ Hakeem added while urging the government to focus its attention towards solving  the problem . He has demanded monthly stipend of Rs 50,000 for all educated unemployed youth in Jammu and Kashmir , till a massive and holistic  employment package is announced by the central government .
     Hakeem said that responsibility for unrest and depression among the youth of Jammu and kashmir lies wholly and solly on the government as it has totally failed to work out an employment package for the youth. He has also made a fervent appeal to Prime Minister Narendera Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to rise to the occasion to address the unemployment crisis in Jammu and Kashmir by announcing an employment package . He said this goodwill gesture would go a long way to win hearts and minds of the common people especially the unemployed  youth of Jammu and Kashmir and would also help to bring a lasting peace in the region .
