About 75 kilometers from Doda main town is located the lush green Bharmi Top in Pingal Bhalessa. It enjoys the beauty that nature graciously bestows upon it. This place with its large forest areas, snow-clad peaks, and trekking routes, has become a hotspot for both adventure seekers. The visual poetry of Bharmi Top depicts a breathtaking panorama of colors and textures. As one explores the region, the trekking routes beckon, promising a journey through nature’s untouched canvas. It has a tourism potential yet to be identified by the J&K Tourism. It is a part of the most unseen places of Bhalessa. The place transforms into a winter wonderland during the colder months, adorned with a blanket of snow that can reach up to an astonishing 4 meters. The heavy snowfall doesn’t merely alter the landscape; it adds a touch of magic to the already enchanting surroundings. Recognizing its inherent value, the tourism department needs to integrate it into schemes like the Integrated Development of Tourist Facilities The construction of a Tourist Facilitation Centre, coupled with the establishment of an inner approach road. Recognizing the importance of accessibility, construction of an inner approach road to Bharmi Top is imperative. This infrastructure development not only ensures easier travel for tourists but also open up opportunities for local businesses and residents. The road will connect Top to surrounding areas, creating a network that supports both tourism and everyday life. The endeavors to integrate Bharmi Top into tourism development schemes signify a commitment to exploring its full potential.
