MP Ghulam Ali Khatana engages in VBS Yatra, Stresses for inclusive dev through Govt Schemes

Reasi: Member of Parliament Ghulam Ali Khatana actively participated in the ongoing Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra, a nationwide campaign dedicated to raising awareness and ensuring the widespread implementation of various flagship government schemes.
The event, held in Mahore sub-division, witnessed enthusiastic participation from diverse segments of society.
The campaign, highlighted through an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van, showcased remarkable success stories of beneficiaries who have thrived under multiple schemes such as the PradhanMantriAwasYojana (PMAY), UMEED, PradhanMantri Jan ArogyaYojana (PMJAY), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), PradhanMantriKisanSammanNidhi (PM Kissan), PoshanAbhiyan, Old Pension, and more. Notably, a pivotal moment included a message from Prime Minister NarendraModi, personally delivered through the IEC van, underscoring the government’s commitment to the nation’s development.
Individuals, communities, and students came together during the event to take a collective pledge for a Viksit Bharat, symbolizing a dedicated commitment to the advancement and progress of our nation.
Speaking at the event, MP Ghulam Ali Khatana stressed the indispensable role of community involvement in ensuring the success of government initiatives. He stated, “The active engagement of citizens is pivotal for the effective execution of government schemes. The Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra provides a unique platform for people to connect with authorities and actively contribute to the nation’s development.”
The event witnessed a rich display of cultural diversity as various educational institutions collaborated to present a captivating cultural program, celebrating India’s pluralistic heritage.
MP Khatana emphasized the need for continued efforts to empower communities through awareness. He highlighted the significance of officers and officials from various departments engaging with the general public to shed light on vital schemes, including Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, PM GaribKalyan Anna Yojana, DeendayalAntyodayaYojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission, PM UjjwalaYojana, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), and PoshanAbhiyan.

MP Ghulam Ali Khatana expressed gratitude for the participants’ active involvement and commended the district administration for successfully organizing the program. He underscored the Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra’s role in creating awareness, bridging gaps for inclusive development, and fostering engagement with government schemes.
Furthermore, constituents from Mahore and neighboring areas highlighted pressing issues, emphasizing the urgent need to expedite the completion of PMGSY roads, accelerate the construction of the PHC building in Dewal, and address staff shortages in the PHC.
