Kulgam : The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Viqar Ahmed Giri on Tuesday chaired a meeting of officers to review the arrangements put in place for this winter season.
During the meeting, the ADC reviewed availability of Snow clearance machines, stock position, action plans prepared by the concerned departments framed to prevent interruption of services during the winter season.
He impressed upon the officers to ensure prompt response to the public grievances and ensure better coordination in dealing with Snow clearance operations and to maintain power and water supply besides other essential supplies to avoid any inconvenience to people.
The concerned officers from the Mechanical Engineering Department briefed the ADC about the action plan and availability of Snow clearance machines. Concerned from Municipal Committees also briefed the chair about their preparations and availability of machinery and human resources.
The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer PMGSY, R&B Mechanical divisions Kulgam, and other representative of line departments.
