Jammu : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Jindrah panchayat of Dansal block on Saturday in an elaborate ceremony.
The event was graced by the presence of Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, who inaugurated the exhibition stalls set up by various departments and self-help groups. He also interacted with the beneficiaries and the general public and apprised them of the benefits of the schemes.
A large LED screen displayed the message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the achievements of the central government in various sectors.
The students of Govt Higher Secondary School Jindrah, Govt Middle school Jindrah and other private schools of panchayat Jindrah displayed cultural programs including debate activities and skits with the theme of national integration. The winners were felicitated with prizes by the dignitaries.
The sectoral officers of various departments also spoke on the occasion and spread awareness among the public about the schemes launched by the central government such as Health, PMAY(U), Social Welfare, KCC, Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card, Har Ghar Jal Jeevan Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana, Umeed(Nrlm), PM Vishwakarma, ICDS (Social Welfare), T.S.O, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Cooperative Department, Education and Ujjwala Yojana. Stalls for on-spot registration under Ujjwala yojana and other services were also installed.
A special demonstration of drones for agricultural use was also done to showcase the potential of this technology in precision farming and optimising resource utilisation.
The beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana were presented with free LPG gas cylinders by the MP. The Social Welfare Department presented sanction letters to Old Age Pension Scheme beneficiaries. The ICDS Department distributed nutrition kits among the beneficiaries.
On the occasion, Gram Panchayat Jindrah was also declared ODF Plus, the certificate of which was presented by the MP to the Sarpanch.
Block Development Council Chairperson Reena Thapa, Director Fertilizer Anuraj Rohtagi, Tehsildar Dansal Dhruv Gupta, Child Development Project Officer Dansal Ranbireshwar Singh Jamwal, Zonal Incharge Cultural Cell M.K. Bhat, Block Medical Officer Dansal Manzoor Ahmed, Principal Govt Higher Secondary School Jindrah Anuradha Sharma, Teacher Rajesh Jamwal, Sarpanch Jindrah Anil Sharma and Ex PRI members also participated in the event and highlighted the importance of the program.
The event was coordinated by Block Development Officer Dansal Joni Kumar with the help of Rural Development Department staff.

VBS Yatra: Dir Sericulture presides over mega Event at Town Hall Hajin
Bandipora : As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign, Director Sericulture department, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat Saturday presided over a mega event at Town Hall Hajin.
The event aimed to raise awareness among the local populace and saturate all government schemes. The event showcased stalls set up by various Government Departments and presented colourful cultural items by students and local youth.
The program was attended by PRIs including Vice Chairperson DDC Bandipora, DDC Members, BDCs, PRIs, general public, local youth and prominent citizens.
In his speech, Director Sericulture stressed that the Prime Minister’s goal for the VBSY is to ensure that the rural masses are aware of the importance of government welfare initiatives, reach the unreached population, and facilitate their use.
He emphasized the revolutionary effect of VBSY in stimulating growth, encouraging participation in government initiatives, and reaching saturation under programs focused on the needs of citizens.
Director Sericulture along with Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak and Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Umar Shafi Pandit conducted a comprehensive inspection of stalls set up by various government departments.
These stalls showcased a wide array of schemes pertaining to agriculture, horticulture, health, animal husbandry, social welfare, handicraft, handloom and other key sectors.
A compilation of development movies that offered a thorough rundown of current and upcoming projects were exhibited at the event.
ADDC Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, ADC Umar Shafi Pandit, ASP Bandipora Sandeep Bhat, ARTO/DIO Bilal Ahmad Mir, SDPO Sumbal, District Officers, Tehsildar Hajin, EO Hajin, BDO Hajin, AEO Hajin, BMO Hajin and others attended the programme.

GDC Ramgarh organises inter-class competition on Viksit Bharat @ 2047
Samba: The Department of Sociology, Government Degree College Ramgarh, organized an inter-class competition as part of the series of activities being organized by the College to observe ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’.
At the outset of the event held under the esteemed guidance and supervision of the Principal Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, she applauded the participants and encouraged them to participate in such activities. She reiterated that the core vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047 is to transform Bharat into a developed nation by 2047.
In the Inter-Class competition, a symposium was organized wherein many students presented their ideas on developed/Viksit Bharat to actively contribute their suggestions aligning with the vision of comprehensive growth across sectors, fostering inclusivity, and positioning India as a global leader.
The competition was adjudged by Dr. Shivali Choudhary, Dr. Paramjeet Kour, and Sunil Kumar. The first position was secured by Bhoomika Sharma of Sem-1st, the second position was secured by Harmandeep Kour of Sem-1st and third position was secured by Radhika Shukla of Sem-1st.
This initiative aims to provide a platform for the youth towards fostering and achieving the goals of a developed India/Viksit Bharat.
A large number of students of the college enthusiastically attended the Symposium. The faculty members who were present Dr. Aditi Khajuria, Prof. Brham Dutt, Dr. Shivali Choudhary, Priya Sharma, Dr. Imtiyaz Ahmed, Dr. Paramjeet Kour, Fayaz Ahmed, Sonali Dutta, Anil Sharma, Ram Murti, and Baby Sharma.

VBS Yatra: IEC van traverses across 7 panchayats of Rajouri Distt
Rajouri: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van on Saturday traversed through the Panchayats of Palam, Muradhpur, Androlla, Potha, Sarhanoo, Sarano and Dalogra in Rajouri District. This 72-day outreach and awareness campaign aims to promote government schemes and ensure the successful implementation of flagship programs within a specific timeframe. The program intends to provide the benefits of these schemes to all the intended beneficiaries.
The primary objective of the yatra is to disseminate vital information and create awareness about various government schemes, ensuring that every deserving individual or community is well-informed and included.
A key aspect of the yatra is to facilitate direct interaction between the government and the beneficiaries. By sharing personal stories and experiences, this program provides a platform for individuals to voice their needs, concerns, and aspirations. This two-way communication not only helps the government gain a better understanding of the ground realities but also enables the identification and enrollment of potential beneficiaries based on the information gathered during the yatra.
The Viksit Bharat Yatra focuses on a range of schemes targeted at both urban and rural areas. In urban areas, the yatra highlights schemes such as PM Svanidhi, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, PM Mudra Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Start-up India/Stand-up India, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana (Urban), SBM (Urban), PM eBus Sewa, AMRUT, PM Bhartiya Jan Aushadi Pariyojana, Ujjala Yojana, Subhagya Yojana, Digital Payment Infrastructure, Khelo India, RCS: UDAN, Vande Bharat Trains, and Amrit Bharat Station scheme. In rural areas, the focus is on schemes such as Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, PMGKAY, DAY-NRLM, PM Awas Yojana Rural, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman, PM Vishwakarma, KCC, PM Poshan Abhiyan, JJM, and SVAMITVA.
The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ stands as a firm commitment by the government to build a prosperous and equitable India. Kathua : In the midst of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a heartwarming success story emerged from Basohli block. Ram Swaroop, a resident of this scenic Tehsil, came forward to share his incredible journey. With gratitude in his heart, he expressed how the Ayushman Bharat Health Card transformed his life by enabling him to undergo a life-changing free eye surgery. He narrated his inspiring tale in his own words as part of the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” initiative.
Ram Swaroop, a humble resident of Basohli, had been grappling with diminishing eyesight for years. As time went by, his world gradually became darker, causing great distress and anxiety. VBS Yatra elevates Urban Dev as it traverses through Distt Pulwama
Pulwama: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), dedicated to comprehensive development, progressed through District Pulwama, showcasing remarkable strides from rural expanses to urban hubs.
In this connection, a significant event held in Municipal Committee Pampore at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Pampore highlighted the Yatra’s transformative impact, fostering inclusivity and bridging the gap between Government initiatives and the public.
Utilizing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) vans strategically, the Yatra effectively communicated its message across the district, reaching Municipal Committee Awantipora.
On the occasion, various Government departments had set up informative stalls, offering tangible insights into the benefits of Government schemes. On-the-spot services demonstrated the practical implementation of these initiatives, aligning with the Yatra’s goal of directly connecting with the people.
A collective Sankalp pledge and the ‘Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani’ segment allowed beneficiaries to share stories illustrating the profound transformation brought about by Government schemes. Visual testimonials, distributed in the form of calendars, reinforced the positive impact of these initiatives.
The event was further enriched by captivating cultural performances, embodying the essence of VBSY. District and Sectoral officers’ presence underscored the Yatra’s success in ensuring the saturation of various Government schemes across the district.
VBSY has been fostering development in urban areas after its transition from rural landscapes, symbolizing a transformative approach rooted in inclusivity, awareness, and the direct implementation of Government schemes.

VBS Yatra: Comr F&DA joins VBSY at Panchayat Madoon, Block Rajpura
Samba : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, an initiative to spread awareness about the flagship schemes of the Government, reached Panchayat Madoon Block Rajpura, District Samba on Saturday. The yatra was joined by Commissioner Food and Drug Administration, Shakeel ul Rehman Rather.
Rather was accorded a rousing welcome from the DDC members, PRIs, and locals of the area. He inspected the stalls set up by different departments to showcase their achievements and services. The event started with the national anthem, followed by a cultural programme by the students of various government schools. The Prime Minister’s message was played through the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) van, and the Sankalp pledge was taken by all the participants.
The yatra also featured a segment called ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’, where the beneficiaries of various schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), UMEED, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PM MVY), etc. shared their success stories and experiences. A documentary screening of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was also held to educate the citizens about the various flagship schemes and their benefits. A quiz on the schemes was conducted, and the winners were felicitated with certificates .
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of the beneficiaries and the exceptional sports persons of the area. Rather handed over the Abhinandan Patra to Paani Samiti under the Jal Jeevan Mission . He also congratulated the sports persons who have brought laurels to the district and the state in various competitions.
Speaking on the occasion, Rather, in his address, expressed his happiness to be a part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and to have the opportunity to meet the locals. He thanked all the officials, staff, and citizens for their cooperation and participation in the event.

Reasi : Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department, Prashant Goyal, participated in the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide campaign aimed at spreading awareness and ensuring saturation of various flagship government schemes, held at the Auditorium of DC office Complex on Saturday.
A vibrant display of local culture, with drum beats by talented local artists adding a rhythmic touch to the proceedings was showcased.
The Principal Secretary inaugurated IEC van delivering recorded message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the huge gathering present on the spot.
On the occasion, individuals, communities and students came together to take a collective pledge for a Viksit Bharat, symbolizing a commitment towards development and progress of our nation.

He also distributed cheques under PMEGP and Pension Sanction Letters among the beneficiaries.
Later, Principal Secretary Prashant Goyal inaugurated the Common Facilitation Center of Industries and Commerce Department marking a significant stride in advancing industrial infrastructure and fostering economic growth in the region.
DDC Chairman, Saraf Singh Nag, while addressing the gathering, expressed hope that the VBSY shall benefit the last man in the row in the farthest village of district Reasi.

VBS Yatra: Awareness, Govt services attract people at Jourian
Jammu: Jourian witnessed a transformative event with the arrival of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Shaheed Shamsher Singh Dy. Comdt., Govt. Hr. Sec. School. The town resonated with the spirit of progress as the Swagat Committee and local luminaries welcomed the symbolic VBSY Van.
Students showcased their talents and government officials engaged with the public to highlight various schemes. The Hon’ble PM’s message on the VBSY Van inspired the town to pledge towards making India a developed nation by 2047.
Amidst the fervour, health camps held at Panchayat Ghar Darsopur, Block Miran Sahib played a vital role. They offered essential healthcare services, including NCD and anaemia screenings, TB checks and counselling. Beneficiaries were informed about government schemes like Janani Suraksha Yojana and Ayushman Golden Cards, with free medicines distributed. These initiatives aim to improve overall health and well-being of the masses.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra continued its journey, reaching Panchayat Kalyanpur, Jhiri where the caravan of hope was warmly welcomed, attracting a significant public gathering. The event successfully raised awareness about government welfare schemes, fostering citizen participation through “Jan Bhagidari.” Under the guidance of BMO Marh, Dr. Jyoti Bhau, similar health facilities were also provided here to the public. Similar events unfolded in panchayat Chak Bhagwana, Block Bhalwal Brahmana.

VBS Yatra enters 26th Day in Ramban – Empowering Panchayats with government initiatives
Ramban: Guided by the visionary leadership of Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra entered 26th day in Ramban, marking a significant milestone. The Yatra, a resounding success, has covered 136 Panchayats making substantial strides towards its mission of inclusion for all Panchayats in the district.
In its journey through Ramban, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made a profound impact on four hilly Panchayats: Mahu Upper, Sarachi, Sarbagni-A, and Sarbagni-B. The event saw the active participation of the stakeholder departments, each contributing to the dissemination of crucial information about government initiatives at their respective stalls.
With a dedicated focus on community empowerment through awareness about flagship schemes, the event featured a range of activities. This included Sankalp pledge ceremonies, informative sessions by officers and officials from multiple departments engaging with the general public. Notable schemes highlighted encompassed Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Poshan Abhiyan etc.
The vibrancy of the event was accentuated by interactive sessions, including a captivating drone demonstration showcasing technological advancements in the Agriculture area and also nutritional awareness by Poshan (ICDS) officials.
The event went beyond awareness, providing access to free healthcare services under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Beneficiaries of various schemes shared their positive experiences through the ‘Mari Kahaani Meri Zubaani’ initiative, adding a personal touch to the Yatra’s impact on the lives of the community.
