Kulgam : The Bharat Scouts and Guides in collaboration with District Administration Kulgam on Wednesday organized a one day Scouts and Guides Program at Mini Secretariat Kulgam in which more than 60 Participants of District Kulgam took part.
During the programme participants were enlightened with the recent instructions related to Scouts & Guides through lectures of organizers of the programme.
They were briefed that the sole purpose of scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual development of young people so that they can take constructive place in the society as responsible citizens and as a member of their local, national and international communities.
The programme concluded with distribution of awards among all participants by District Development Commissioner Kulgam, Dr.Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat.
Present on the occasion were Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz; Jt. State Administrative Officer Scouts & Guides, Gulshan Ara; Chief Education Officer, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Kulgam and other officers and members.
